As the saying goes, "a winning team does not change," and the partnership between Magneti Marelli Checkstar and Nicolò Bulega is a perfect example of success. Therefore, we are pleased to announce the renewal of our partnership with the Emilia-born rider for the 2025 World Superbike season.
Nicolò will hit the track with the Team Aruba.it Racing's Ducati Panigale V4 R, showcasing the unmistakable yellow and blue Magneti Marelli Checkstar logo on his helmet, aiming for the world title that narrowly escaped him last year.
—Nicolò Bulega: brand ambassador for Magneti Marelli Checkstar
As the brand ambassador of the Magneti Marelli Checkstar network of workshops, Nicolò plays a crucial role in representing the brand during races and providing special moments for fans and motor enthusiasts, including our professionals. —A Season filled with success
Following his victory in the 2023 World SuperSport, Bulega competed at a very high level in the 2024 Superbike Championship, establishing himself as the rookie of the year with an outstanding track record: a total of 24 podium finishes (an absolute record for a rookie in this category), including 6 victories, 15 second places, and 3 third places, along with 11 fastest laps in races. This consistency allowed him to fight for the world title until the closing stages of the season, which saw Toprak Razgatlıoğlu win with his BMW.
At Magneti Marelli Checkstar, we are particularly proud of Nicolò and are confident that after his brilliant debut, he is ready to perform at the highest levels in the 2025 Superbike Championship.
—Twelve rounds around the world
The 2025 Superbike season kicked off at the end of January with a collective test session in Portimão, Portugal, and will conclude on October 19 at the Spanish circuit of Jerez de la Frontera. Each round includes three free practice sessions, the Superpole, the Superpole Race, the Warm-up, Race 1, and Race 2.
The outlook for Nicolò is positive: after setting the fastest time on the first day of testing at Phillip Island on the eve of the race weekend, our champion repeated the feat on the morning of the second day, stopping the clock at 1’28"680.
Here are all the scheduled events:
We wish Nicolò the best of luck for the new SBK season, which begins this weekend at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit.
